Lake Texoma Striper Fishing Spots-Bank and Boat Anglers
18 year Guide Steve Buckley shares his Lake Texoma Striper Fishing Spots.
Lake Texoma Bank Fishing Spots
Denison Dam
This is NOT the secret Lake Texoma bank fishing spot. Great access to bank anglers, but very crowded most of the year. If you like combat Striper fishing go to the Denison Dam on Lake Texoma. You may want to try the Lake Texoma Spillway Boat Ramp too. If you can find a spot, Striper and Catfish are available for the bank angler.
Eisenhower State Park
Located near the Lake Texoma Dam Eisenhower State Park has a public fisher pier and lots of shoreline for the bank angler. A perfect spot for the family and offers hiking, biking, rock climbing, camping, and much more. Striper, White Bass, Crappie, Catfish can be caught at this location.
Lighthouse Marina
Lighthouse Marina has lakefront access with a store, restaurant, playground, and nice cabins. If you own a boat Lighthouse Marina is a perfect spot for a multiday Lake Texoma vacation. Lighthouse Marina is close to Table Top, the Dam, and Washita and Red River channels.
Juniper Point Public Use Area
Great waterfront access for Bank Anglers and a very nice campground. A public fishing dock with easy access. A great stop for bank anglers wanting to catch catfish, crappie, white bass, and striper.
Burns Run West
Miles of shoreline for bank anglers at Burns run west and East. A great campground and boat ramps. September topwater near the shore is a must for bank anglers. Striper, White Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Crappie and catfish can be caught by bank anglers at Burns Run.
Highport Marina
Follow Highport Road until it ends and bank anglers will find one of the best spots on the lake to catch Striper from the shoreline. If the wind is out of the north, the Highport Marina shoreline is a great spot for bank anglers. This spot is NOT a secret so it will get a lot of traffic.
Lake Texoma Striper Fishing Spots-Boat Anglers
Cardinal Point
Cardinal Cove Marina is on the Oklahoma side of Lake Texoma and is a great spot to find threadfin shad early in the morning and then fish the bank line from shallow to about 20 feet.
Sand Bass Pass
A great Lake Texoma Striper fishing spot from September to January. Please use caution this area is very shallow. Striper push threadfin shad up on the sandy beaches in September and a perfect spot for the topwater plug season.
North Islands
The #1 Lake Texoma Striper Fishing Spot for September topwater plug season. DO NOT run your big motor in shallow water. You will be very unpopular on Lake Texoma if you do. Use the wind and or trolling motor to quietly get shallow and cast to the sand!
Platter Flats
A Northwest wind will push shad into Platter Flats. Lots of humps and ridges on this Lake Texoma Striper Fishing Spot and a great stop for Lure and Live Bait Anglers. Striper will roam these flats year-round.
Burns Run
Another prime Lake Texoma Striper Fishing Spot in September. The topwater fishing along the shoreline can be outstanding if anglers stay quiet. Move out into 20 feet of water once the topwater bite ends.
Preston Point
A great year-round Lake Texoma Striper Fishing Spot. Striper will run this point chasing shad. Don’t be afraid to look in the coves of Preston Point.
