The daily bag limit is 5 fish for all black bass species in any combination. For striped bass and hybrid striped bass, there is no minimum length limit. Daily bag limit = 10; possession limit = 20, and only two striped or hybrid striped bass 20 inches or greater may be retained each day.

Highport Marina will be out meeting place 95% of our trips.  We also meet at Little Mineral at certain times of the year.

I will contact you the night before each trip with a meeting time and location.

What is the best time of year to fish lake texoma?

Whenever you get a chance come Striper Fish Lake Texoma, do so.  This impoundment produces large numbers of Striper and trophy size fish over 15 pounds.  We don’t troll in the same spot for 3 days and catch one big fish like some states (AR).  Each angler will catch a limit of 10 Striper or more with a big one mixed in.  From January 1 to December 31, Lake Texoma is a fantastic Striper fishery.

How long are your striper fishing trips?

Our average trip is 4 hours.  If fishing is tough trips can last 6 hours.  Most trips start at 6 AM CST and we are back at the dock cleaning a limit of Striper at 10 AM.  We wrap it up with some photographs for you and social media and you are back on the road to your home by 11 AM.

what are the lake texoma striper fishing regulations?

Two-thirds of this lake lies in Oklahoma. Anglers with Texas licenses may fish in the Texas portions of the reservoir, or purchase a Lake Texoma license ($12) to fish the entire lake.

Special bag and size limits are in effect for several fish species on this lake.

Anglers should also be aware of rules in effect here to prevent the spread of exotic invasive species. Boats, livewells, and bait buckets must be drained of all water before leaving the area. In the Red River downstream, from the Texoma dam to the Arkansas state line, it is unlawful to transport live, nongame fishes from this stretch of river to any other water body. Nongame fishes may be collected and used for bait within these waters. For more details, see Possession and Transport of Exotic Aquatic Species.
