Lake Texoma Striper Report October 7, 2017
Buckley Striper Guide Service
Captain Steve Buckley
The Lake Texoma striper report for October 7, 2017 is outstanding! When summer finally decides to go away, the catching will only get better! The fall top-water season is here, and we are finding big striper shallow on sandy points! These fish are pushing bait shallow and will take a big top-water plug and or a swimbait on a light jighead! We have had a few live bait trips that are producing some very nice striper in 15 to 20 feet of water! We have also caught a few very nice blue catfish too! You never know what you will catch when you are drifting live bait on Lake Texoma! We have some open dates this fall so book your Striper Trip today! We can catch them on lures or live bait! Our fall pattern is very solid and we are catching nice striper early AM in shallow water! Big top-water plugs and swimabits are the go to baits! We are then moving out into 15 to 20 feet and wacking striper on slab spoons and swimbaits! Come enjoy cooler weather and a great day catching striper on Lake Texoma with Buckley Striper Guide Service today! Don’t forget we post on Facebook, please like us!
